Since 2014 Bendovah Plenti has been part of events that have raised over $5,000, all combined, for human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) community resources in south central Indiana. She raised $1,328 toward a scholarship for someone living with or affected by HIV or AIDS who seeks the services of Positive Link to pursue higher education through Ivy Tech Community College-Bloomington. She raised $1,150 toward her Miss Gay Evansville platform, a scholarship for someone living with HIV or AIDS who seeks the services of AIDS Resource Group (ARG) to pursue higher education through Ivy Tech – Evansville. She won ‘Best Talent Award’ at Main Street Productions’ 2018 Tri-State Awards, ‘Most Overall Creativity’ at their 2017 Tri-State Awards, Miss Gay Evansville 2016, 1st Alternate to Miss Gay Indiana 2016, and was a nominee for the WERRRK.com 2015 Drag Horizon Award, which recognizes ‘an up-and coming-queen in the drag community who isn’t yet on the national stage.’ She performed across the state of Indiana, at benefits, and at Pride events, including Bloomington Pridefest, Circle City IN Pride (Indianapolis), and Spencer Pride Festival.
Daughter of Jewels A. Plenti of Los Angeles, Bendovah is a proud member of the DuMay family of Tucson, Arizona.
