Every World AIDS Day, I post this clip of Madonna from The Girlie Show World Tour. I hear from anecdotal experience queer people and allies in the ’80s and ’90s lost multiple friends weekly. As a Millennial, I feel disconnected from that world; however, I’ve lost a friend from that generation, and it hurts enough. The most valuable thing a Millennial such as myself can do is to remember those whose lives were and are lost to AIDS complications – and to continue to raise money in the pursuit of a cure.

This year, I was proud to have helped raise money for the B’town AIDS Walk & Gifts of Grace. Please continue to give to Bloomington Positive Link HIV Services, or please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you need more information about how to give to HIV/AIDS research in your Indiana city.

Yours truly a DuMay,
Bendovah💋
