Sigma Phi Beta at Indiana University (ΣΦΒ) Beta Chapter recently hosted its annual “Drag for a Cause” benefit, partial proceeds of which went to IU GLBT Student Support Services, a resource and information center for campus and community individuals and groups seeking to grow in their understanding of LGBT issues.
Performers are judged based on their lip sync, look/attire, stage presence and the amount of money they raise for the program with their tips. On March 10, Bendovah became Miss Drag for a Cause 2016 with her Carnival-influenced performance of “Rhythm of the Night.”
The Beta Chapter of Sigma Phi Beta national fraternity first colonized at Indiana University in the Fall of 2010 and became an official chapter in Fall 2011. The Beta Chapter is committed to community service in Bloomington and throughout Indiana. Members are encouraged to complete at least 15 hours of community service each semester.
Bendovah is proud to represent the title of Miss Drag for a Cause for Sigma Phi Beta fraternity Beta Chapter.
